CART and PGPRM from RAI

Retailers Association of India (RAI), is the industry body for organised retailing in India, formed by the leading retailers of the country. Setup with the objective of developing and facilitating he growth of the Indian retail industry.


The Common Admission Retail Test (CART) is the entry level examination conducted across countrywide centres to qualify for rai's PGPRM, a Post Geaduate Programme in Retail Management.


Forms : CART Application Forms are available at Career Launcher Centre, select branches of Axis Bank, all PGPRM Partnering Institutes and all retail outlets or Shoppers' Stop, Croma, Vishal Mega Mart, Vivek Ltd., Landmark, Odyssey, Big Bazaar, Crossword Book Stores, and Kirtilals (details of these centres available at http://www.rai.net.in/ and http://www.cart2008.com/). CART test Date : 27th Jan 2008, 2 PM

Post Gradaute Programme in Retail Management (PGPRM) : Rai's PGPRM is a post graduate specially designed for providing students with a thorough understanding of the finer points of retail management. Rai's involvement in the programme will be end-to-end, covering course content design, faculty support, internship and placement with all rai members.
Rai's PGPRM is backed by the member companies of rai for both internship and placement.

Eligibility : Candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of any university with minimum 50% marks. Students who are in their final year of bachelor's degree education may also apply.
