Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM):2008

The NIRD is launching a fully residential One Year ‘Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM)’ from the academic year 2008, with an aim to create a committed cadre of Rural Development professionals in the country.

  • Seats : 60
  • Duration : July, 2008 to June, 2009
  • Fee : Rs. 1.25 lakh. The Board and Lodging expenses will be approximately Rs.75, 000/-
  • Eligibility : Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University. Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before 15th June, 2008 may also apply.

How to Apply : The prospectus cum application form can be obtained from the Professor & Head, Centre for Post Graduate Studies (CPGS) free of cost. Request for applications by post should reach along with self addressed envelope of size 12”x10” by 14/3/2008. Application forms will also be given at NIRD office at Rajendranagar, Hyderabad and NIRD-NERC office at Khanapara, Guwahati during working hours (9.00 AM to 5.30 PM) upto 20/03/2008. It can also be downloaded from the NIRD website www.nird.org.in . The filled in application form should be submitted along with the application fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST and differently abled persons) through an ‘Account Payee’ Demand Draft drawn in favour of NIRD, Hyderabad, to the Professor & Head, Centre for Post Graduate Studies (CPGS), National Institute of Rural Development, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500 030 (A.P) so as to reach on or before 5.00 PM on 24th March, 2008.
