MBA(Biotechnology) is an upcoming discipline, integrating Biotechnology and Management. The Department of Management Sciences, University of Pune has pioneered a two-year full-time MBA (Biotechnology) degree since 2002.
Eligibility: The candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Life Science, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Zoology), Agriculture, Ayurved, Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Technology, Veterinary Sciences from a statutory university.
Selection Process: Candidates seeking admission to this program for the academic year 2007 should appear for the ATMA written test being conducted on February 11th, 2007. For detailed information on the ATMA test visit our blog entry about ATMA.
Further, the candidates should register separately for the GD/PI test conducted by the Dept. of Management Sciences, University of Pune (PUMBA). The details of the GD/PI are given in the prospectus which can be obtained from the office on payment of Rs.250/- (for the open category) and Rs.150/- (for reserved category) by DD from December 18th, 2006 to April 15th, 2007 on all working days. The prospectus can also be obtained by post by paying through a DD of Rs.325/- for the open category and Rs.225/- for the reserved category. The DD should be drawn in favour of "The Registrar, the University of Pune", payable at Pune.

- Last date of receipt of completed Forms for GD/PI at PUMBA: April 28, 2007
