MBA from IGNOU

INDIRA GANDHI NATIONAL OPEN UNIVERSITY (IGNOU)

IGNOU invites application for the following Degree/Diploma Programme in Management

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Diploma in Management (DIM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
• Post Gradaute Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)

All the above programmes have multi-media design, using technology aided delivery systems. These are offered through countrywide network of study centres. The University will be admitting the students for the above degree/diplomas in Management starting from July 2008 through Entrance Test 'OPENMAT-XXIII' to be held on Sunday, the 3rd February, 2008. all over the country.

• Elgibility : Bachelor's Degree + 3 years' Supervisory/ Managerial Professional experience OR Degree in Engineering / Technology/ Medicine/ Architecture/ Law etc. OR Professional Qualifications in Accountancy/ Cost & works Accountancy/ Company Secretaryship etc. OR Master's Degree in any subject (The University may consider other degrees in this list of equivalent professional degree/ qualification, if required.)

Non-Graduates with 6 years Supervisory/ Managerial/ Professional experience are eligible to apply for DIM only. The candidates who have completed 10+2 or its equivalent qualification will be treated as Non-Grduates.

Experience means work experience during or after aquiring the qualification as specified. Work exeprience requirement of 3/6 years should be fulfilled as on 30th April, 2008.

There is no age bar for any of the programmes.

Filled in forms for Entrance Test 'OPENMAT-XXIII' must reach the Registrar (SR&E), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 by Registered Post/Speed Post on or before 20th December, 2007.

Candidates who qualify entrance test can submit the registration form, which will be made available alongwith hall ticket of the entrance test, to the respective Regional Centres alongwith the required fee on any day after the receipt of result card, for admission cycle starting from July 2008 and January, 2009.

Student Handbook and Prospectus for Management Programme can be obtained from the Registrar (SR&E), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 and from all the Regional Centres of IGNOU by sending a sum of Rs.550/- though a DD/IPO in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi/city of concerned Regional Centre or by paying Rs.500/- in cash at the respective sale counters. please write your name and address on the back of the DD/IPO. Last date of receipt of request for PROSPECTUS by post is 5th December, 2007.

Application Form and prospectus can also be downloaded from the webiste http://www.ignou.ac.in/ and ssent alongwith a DD/IPO of Rs.550/- in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delgi by Registered/Speed Post to

Registrar (SR&E), Block 12, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068.
Prospectus will be sent to such applicant after receipt of Rs.550/- as explained above.
