PGP-PMP: One-Year Post Graduate Programme in Public Management and Policy
PGP-PMP is a rigorous programme in public management and policy with about 880 contact or equivalent hours of engagement. The programme has three modules – a core management (CM) module that would be the equal of leading international one year executive management programmes, a core public management and policy (CPMP) module, and electives leading to concentration in a number of areas. In addition, an international attachment/ exchange module would provide the necessary exposure to working at senior levels in public policy and management. The years of experience of IIMA in research and consulting for government, regulatory bodies, and the public sector, are being brought to bear to offer this unique executive programme. The programme shares the core management module with the one year Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX) of the Institute.
This is a full time residential programme.
Deaprtment of Personnel & Training, Govt. of India has signed an MoU with IIM under which DoPT would fully support upto 30 Civil Servants of Group A services for the programme.
